Mr. Phillips is an associate with the Law Firm of Zampi, Determan & Erickson LLP. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2009. He earned his Bachelors in English from the University of Arizona in 2006, where he graduated cum laude.

During law school, Mr. Phillips interned with the Special Education Clinic of the University of San Diego, where he worked with school districts to ensure that children with special needs received adequate education services. Mr. Phillips also externed for the Honorable Judge Edward Sturgeon of the San Diego Superior Court.
