Mrs. Vail is an associate with the Law Firm of Zampi, Determan & Erickson LLP.  She received her Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2007 where she graduated summa cum laude.  While in law school Mrs. Vail received high grade awards in Contracts, Torts, Business Associations, Criminal Law, Evidence, and Information Privacy Law.  Additionally she received a full tuition LSAT scholarship during her first year of law school, and a full tuition Fellowship from the Center for Global Legal Studies during subsequent years.  Mrs. Vail was on the Distinguished Honor Roll and the National Dean’s List. 

During law school Mrs. Vail served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Eddie Sturgeon in Department 14 of the San Diego Superior Court and as a legal intern at the San Diego Unified School District.  Prior to joining the Law Firm of Zampi, Determan & Erickson LLP, Mrs. Vail worked at Neil, Dymott, Frank, McFall & Trexler, APLC.  

Mrs. Vail is originally from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Hawaii at Hilo.  Mrs. Vail is married to her husband Chris, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, and enjoying all the outdoor activities San Diego has to offer.
