Mr. DeSaulniers became an associate with the Law Firm of Zampi, Determan & Erickson LLP in June 2001.  He has broad experience representing clients in unlawful discrimination cases.  Additionally, he has extensive experience in teacher discipline and termination matters when representing California school and community college districts.  Mr. DeSaulniers has also represented clients who suffered unlawful discrimination based on the client's use of a service dog.

In addition to being an attorney, Mr. DeSaulniers is also an investment executive.  He is licensed by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority with a Series 7 and Series 63.

He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2000.  While there he was a member of San Diego Law Review and was awarded the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence.  After serving in the U.S. Air Force for four years, Mr. DeSaulniers received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 1982 and his Master’s in Administration in 1983 from Western Connecticut State University.

Mr. DeSaulniers worked in Human Resources for approximately four years after earning his Master’s degree.  He then spent 10 years working for various social service organizations.  In addition, Mr. DeSaulniers has volunteered for both the AIDS Foundation San Diego and the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program AIDS Law Team.  He is currently a member of the California State Bar, the San Diego Bar Association, and the Tom Homann Law Association.
